Airport Transportation

Bus Options

There are several options for wheelchair-accessible public transportation to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport:

  • Valley Metro bus Route 13 stops at Terminal 2.
  • Bus Route 1, Route 44 and new Route 32 connect with the Airport at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Station. The free PHX Sky Train® runs regularly and is only minutes away from Sky Harbor terminals.
  • The 44th Street PHX Sky Train® Station is a direct connection to Valley Metro Rail, which offers access into Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa

Rental Cars

The Rental Car Center accommodates all airport rental car companies, their rental counters and vehicles. If you are planning to rent a car at PHX Sky Harbor, be sure to make a reservation. Vehicles are limited for walk-up customers.

Early Bag Check is available at the Rental Car Center.

The Rental Car Center (see map below) is located within its own building at 1805 E. Sky Harbor Circle South (between 16th Street and 24th Street, south of Buckeye Road). See map below or use these printable directions to and from the Rental Car Center.

Shuttle

The common Rental Car Shuttle makes frequent stops (approximately every 5 to 10 minutes) at the curb on baggage claim levels of each terminal.
