Registration is now open for the 8th annual Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Dallas Half Marathon. The springtime race returns to Dallas the weekend of March 18 – 19, 2017 and will take runners on a scenic tour of downtown. Registration is open at $75 for the half marathon and $35 for the 5K.
“Dallas is such a great city and one that we love coming back to,” said Nathan Kopp, Event Manager. “This race is a great way to explore downtown’s famous sights and scenery all while taking that 13.1 mile journey, so grab a friend, start a training program and sign up for this epic springtime race.”
The event will once again feature two days of running with the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K on Saturday in Fair Park. Participants can take the “Remix Challenge” by running both Saturday and Sunday and will earn the special Remix Challenge medal in addition to each race’s finisher medals.
The half marathon will start and finish downtown and tour Dallas’ charming neighborhoods and bustling attractions. In true Rock ‘n’ Roll fashion local bands will play through the streets of Dallas, along with spectators and high school cheerleading teams lining the route to motivate runners to the finish line. Upon finishing, participants are invited to relax and celebrate with family and friends at the finish line festival.
