Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Dallas Encourages Businesses to Train and Run as a Team with Rock Corporate

Rock Corporate encourages employees of all fitness levels to reach their fitness goals together; Corporate teams that sign up now will receive $80 registration fees

Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Dallas Half Marathon is encouraging businesses to get fit together by signing up as a team for Rock Corporate to either run or walk the half marathon on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Rock Corporate teams that sign up now will receive an $80 registration fee.

“It is our goal to promote a healthy and active lifestyle to the Dallas community,” said Nathan Kopp, Event Manager. “Rock Corporate is a great way for employees to come together as a team and encourage each other to take on individual fitness goals. We hope that businesses in the surrounding Dallas area will take on the challenge and rock with us in March.”

The Rock Corporate wellness program is designed for companies and their employees to come together in a camaraderie-filled environment to reach their health and fitness goals. Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Dallas will once again feature two days of running with the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K on Saturday, March 18 and the half marathon on Sunday, March 19. Participants can take the “Remix Challenge” by running both days and earn the special Remix Challenge medal in addition to each race’s finisher medals.

The half marathon will start and finish downtown and tour Dallas’ charming neighborhoods and bustling attractions. In true Rock ‘n’ Roll fashion local bands will play through the streets of Dallas, along with spectators and high school cheerleading teams lining the route to motivate runners to the finish line. Upon finishing, participants are invited to relax and celebrate with family and friends at the finish line festival. The Humana 5K will take place in Fair Park.

Race weekend kicks off with a free Health & Fitness Expo, where runners can find the latest running technologies, fitness apparel, health & nutrition information and interactive displays. The Expo takes place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on Friday, March 17 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Saturday, March 18 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Expo is free and open to the public.
