Meet St. Jude patient Kaylee
In December 2014, tests revealed Kaylee suffered from a brain tumor called medulloblastoma. After surgery to remove the tumor, Kaylee’s family turned to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, where her treatment included radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
“Kaylee amazes us,” her mother said. “She’s smiling every day. She keeps us going.”
No family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Runners who raise funds for St. Jude are helping kids, like Kaylee, who’s artistic and loves to go hiking and camping with her family in the mountains. Kaylee is now finished with treatment and visits St. Jude for regular scans.
