The Rock ‘n’ Roll Merida 10K is a 6.2 mile street party and is back again in 2017.  The race starts at dusk and is held during “Hanal Pixan” or Day of the Dead celebrations.  The flat, fast course passes Mayan-inspired monuments, colonial mansions from a by gone era, the city’s central plaza, cathedrals, bustling shops and colorful buildings.  Expect great entertainment and music along every mile, plus a massive celebratory concert at the stadium finish.  Paint your face, put on a costume and become one with the festivities.
