The 2016 Rock ‘n’ Roll Raleigh Marathon presented by WRAL was all about the comeback for Josh Stehno from Wilmington, North Carolina who, three years ago, was struck by a motorcycle while he was serving in the Peace Corps in Kenya. He has been working since that time to be able to run 26.2-miles again and Stehno decided to run in Viking gear for the fun of it.
“I felt good. I didn’t train well for the hills here in Raleigh,” he said. “We don’t have them in Wilmington, but the race was great.”
