Jason Miller is the proud father of 6-year-old Ian, who is receiving treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® for a brain tumor. Ian loves to run, so it made sense for Jason and family friend James Jackson to become a St. Jude Heroes to support the lifesaving treatment and research provided at the hospital.
Since Ian’s diagnosis at 16 months, he has endured 10 surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation, yet he will still be at the St. Jude Country Music Marathon to support his team of Heroes as they cross the finish line!
In this video, James talks about his experience as a St. Jude Hero. While Heroes can earn incentives like free race entry, the greatest benefit is knowing your efforts help St. Jude defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Learn how you can help kids like Ian too.
