Headliner Act at the Toyota Rock 'n' Roll Concert Series
The wait is over! Introducing Five-time GRAMMY© nominee, Hunter Hayes as this year’s Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series headliner for the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Marathon & 1/2 Marathon!
Hailed as a “force to be reckoned with” by the Huffington Post, multiple-award-winner Hunter Hayes is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with three No. 1 singles under his belt and over 40 award nominations and wins, including the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Male Country Artist in 2015 and the CMA Awards’ coveted New Artist of The Year trophy in 2012.
Opening the show will be Erin Kinsey. Since the summer of 2014, Erin and her band started making waves in Music City with appearances at CMA Fest in Nashville and the C2C Festival in London, with numerous acoustic performances at the legendary Blue Bird Café. Fans can expect big things from Erin Kinsey in 2018, as she is one of the up and coming musicians not to be overlooked.
The concert will return for the second year to Ascend Amphitheater on Saturday, April 28. Doors will open at 6 PM with the concert starting at 7 PM.
Seating inside Ascend Amphitheater for Hunter Hayes is now at capacity. Runners, family and friends are welcome to join the party, free of charge, in the park outside of Ascend with a live video and audio presentation. If seating inside Ascend becomes available, we will notify everyone on Facebook with details.
If you have already reserved or purchased concert tickets, you must pick up your ticket with photo ID at the Health & Fitness Expo on Thursday, April 26, or Friday, April 27.
*Entry to the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series featuring Hunter Hayes at Ascend Amphitheater is free for registered runners who indicate they will attend the concert, while supplies last.
Runners, family and friends are also encouraged to attend the Finish Line Festival at the Stadium after the race where there will be music, beer and food. The Festival is free and open to the public.
