Headliner Act at the Toyota Rock 'n' Roll Concert Series

The Band PerryIntroducing The Band Perry as the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series headliner for Saturday night, at Ascend Amphitheater!

Since releasing their No. 1 single “If I Die Young” in 2010, this Grammy Award-winning sibling trio has forged a unique, genre-bending identity and built an international fan base leading to sold-out world tours and five No. 1 Billboard Singles.

Seating inside Ascend Amphitheater for The Band Perry has reached capacity. Runners, family and friends are welcome to join the party, free of charge, in the park outside of the venue with a live video and audio presentation. Runners can join a wait list here in case seating inside Ascend opens up on race week. Anyone on the wait list will receive communication via text and email up through Saturday night if seating becomes available within the venue.

Doors open at 6:00pm and show will start at 7:00pm.

Runners, family and friends are also encouraged to attend the Finish Line Festival at the Stadium after the race where there will be music, beer and food. A schedule is available below for the Finish Line bands, the Festival is free and open to the public.

Tickets to the Toyota Rock ‘n’ Roll Concert Series headliner show with the Band Perry at Ascend Amphitheater must be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo. Runners who requested their complimentary ticket, and family and friends who purchased tickets, before seating within Ascend reached capacity must pick up their ticket with photo ID at the Concert Ticket booth.

Finish Line Festival
Join the party at the finish on race day! There will be beer, food & music at the Finish Line Festival after the race at the Stadium. Local acts will perform for runners, family and friends, and awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers for the Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. Come join the fun on race day!

Thursday Night Concert
Jake Owen will be performing live at Ascend Amphitheater on Thursday night. Doors open at 6:30 and opening act Eric Paslay will take the stage before the main show. The 1 Mile race finishes right outside the venue and runners are encouraged to join in on the fun inside Ascend! Tickets can be purchased here.

Entertainment on the Course

Live Music Every Mile

Music makes up the heart and “sole” of this event. Runners will enjoy a variety of music from alternative, classic and punk rock to blues, jazz and soul along the race course. Music and entertainment set the tempo for this running party, where runners and spectators alike will be “dancin’ in the streets” to these mini-concerts.

Attention Cheer teams and Dance Squads: We need you! High school and middle school cheer and dance teams are invited to compete in the Spirit on the Course Competition. Cheer teams will line the course ready to encourage participants every step of the way. Costumes and themes are optional, smiles and enthusiasm are required. Compete for the grand prize of $1,000!
