SJHS Bulldogs’ Celebrate 150th Anniversary at Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose

Virginia Panlasigui has been race walking the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose 1/2 Marathon for seven years, but this year is extra special.  Virginia is joining her alma mater, San Jose High School to celebrate the school’s 150th Anniversary.

As part of a year-long SJHS 150th Anniversary Celebration, she’s organized a running/walking team with the hope of recruiting 150 current students, faculty, alumni and local supporters.

When you see cardinal and red on course you’ll know you’ve found the Bulldogs, who will be volunteering at water station #4 at Monroe and Peachtree Lane and the SJHS cheer team will greet you at Taylor Street and 4th.

Want to connect with other SJHS Alumni?

Join the Bulldogs at 7:15 am on race morning (corner of Almaden Boulevard and Park Avenue) for SJHS team photos and cheer!

If you are unable to run with the Bulldogs on race day, you can still join as a volunteer at the SJHS water station. Click here for details.

To help ensure the current and future success of SJHS students for the next 150 years to come, you can make a charitable donation to the SJH Bulldog Foundation who raise funds to support various programs like International Baccalaureate tests, Scholarships, Athletics, Art and Music. Donations to support these programs can be made to SJH Bulldog Foundation, 275 North 24th Street, San Jose, CA 95116.
