#RnRVB – Day 1

It’s the annual end of summer 13.1-mile beach party and 14th annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Festival Virginia Beach got kicked off in a big way Friday. The expo opened at 1:00pm and the excitement was palatable. Runners took advantage of a special $45 registration offer for the 2015 race, got some face time with running legends and most importantly carb’d up and got ready for two days of running!

The fun continued into the evening with the first night of the American Music Festival, with Hunter Hayes headlining the main stage at 5th Ave. Saturday morning will feature the first ever 1-mile beach run in the sand and runners who complete both Saturday and Sunday’s events will earn the coveted Remix Challenge Medal. There is still time to join the fun, with relay and half-marathon registration open at the expo, we are just getting started on an incredible weekend!
