I’m pumped to be running the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon this coming weekend. Who’s with me?! The great thing about doing races with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Series is you get to enjoy awesome destinations no matter what the race. For everyone heading to Northern California for a fun weekend of running, make sure you do these 10 things in San Jose to make the weekend spectacular!

Race Expo | Free swag. Neat ideas. Your race packet. This is definitely a must for fun and excitement pre-race!

San Jose Flea Market | Shop the largest open-air flea market in the US.

Downtown San Jose | Explore downtown including history, murals and more!

Winchester Mystery House | Get lost in the 160 rooms of this crazy cool house (and maybe solve a mystery or two?).

Alum Rock Park | Relax with a picnic in one of California’s oldest municipal parks.

Santana Row | Shop and people watch in this exclusive shopping area of San Jose.

Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum | Discover some of the West’s best Egyptian artifacts—this cool museum holds the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in the Western US.

Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies | Get musical with the largest Beethoven collection (outside Europe of course!).

The Tech Museum of Innovation | If you love interactive experiences and science, this is a must visit. Plus, there are some pretty fun IMAX movies playing right now.

Race! We LOVE all the races options between the two days: ½ Marathon, 10K, 5K. You won’t regret it.

Happy racing Rock ‘n’ Roll runners!
