Why do you run?
Do I have to limit it to one reason? 😉 Stress relief, staying fit and active, weight management, to challenge myself, as an activity I can do together with my husband, and more!
Favorite place to run:
Well, my favorite place I’ve EVER run was in Hawaii, but that was only on vacation! At home, I like running on the roads around the less busy parts of town – especially in the fall when the foliage is gorgeous up here.
Running gear you can not live without:
Sneakers! I’m pretty low key and don’t have much fancy stuff. For longer races, I love my fuel belt.
When not running where would we find you?
On a typical day, I might be leading a corporate running group or presenting a wellness seminar, teaching nutrition classes through a grant in an elementary school, working on the blog, and cooking up some delicious meals in the kitchen.
Favorite post race fuel:
Chocolate PB&B smoothie: frozen banana slices, skim milk, peanut butter, and dark chocolate chips. Blend and enjoy!
