Meet Allison from Oregon – St. Jude Patient
In October 2014, Allison was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma. She arrived at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® for treatment shortly before the winter holidays.
“Everything St. Jude did for the kids during Christmas was amazing and overwhelming,” said Allison’s mom. “Allison got to see Santa Claus twice at the hospital.”
Allison’s treatment at St. Jude includes chemotherapy.
Runners who fundraise as St. Jude Heroes are helping kids like Allison, who is in the second grade and especially likes art and math. She loves to play with her American girl doll and Legos. “She’s very upbeat, positive and tough,” her mom said. “She’s the strongest little girl. She’s stronger than I ever could be.”
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
