Marathon & Half Marathon Transportation Options

Park at the Start Line: $15

Purchase a parking pass at the Parking & Transportation Booth at the Expo for University of Washington lots next to the start line. Lots open at 4:00 am. After the race, take the Link Light Rail from International District/Chinatown Station to University of Washington Station. Link light rail tickets ($2.50) can be purchased in advance through the Transit Go Ticket app or at the station before boarding. Cash and credit card are both accepted. 



Park at the Finish Line + Shuttle to the Start Line: $20

Purchase parking pass at the Parking & Transportation Booth at the Expo for lots at CenturyLink Field. Your $20 parking pass includes one shuttle pass to the start line. Additional riders in your car can purchase individual shuttle passes for $5 each, below. Lots open at 3:45 am. Shuttles run continuously 4:00 am-5:45 am. After the race, walk from the Finish Line Festival to your parking lot to retrieve your car. 



Pre-race Shuttle – Finish to Start: $5

If you are riding in a car parking at or near the Finish Line area, live near the finish line, or are staying at a hotel near the finish line, purchase a shuttle pass at the Parking Transportation Booth at the Expo for $5 to get you from the finish line to the start line before the race. Shuttle run continuously 4:00 am-5:45 am.



Link light rail: $2.25 – $3.25 (each way)

Take the Link Light Rail to the University of Washington Station, which is located next to the Start Line. Prices vary depending on the station you are departing from. Transit riders can park for free at Angle Lake Station and Tukwila Int’l Blvd. Station. Link Light Rail tickets can be purchased in advance through the Transit GO Ticket app or at the station before boarding. Cash and credit card are both accepted. Link light rail will be open early, with northbound trains starting at Angle Lake Station at 4:47 am PT and continuing every 12-20 minutes (see full race morning schedule at soundtransit.org). All stations will be served. 


5K Transportation


5K Round-Trip Shuttle Pass: $15

One round-trip shuttle ticket between CenturyLink Field and the 5K start/finish at The Museum of Flight in South Seattle/Tukwila. Shuttles to the 5K run continuously 7:00 am-8:00 am. Shuttles from the 5K back to CenturyLink Field north lots run continuously 9:45 am-11:15 am. Valid only on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Passes can be picked up in-person at the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday, June 16, or at the shuttle pickup on race morning (be prepared for lines). A limited supply will be available for purchase on race morning, Saturday, June 17, at the shuttle pickup location.


Park at the 5K Start/Finish

Park at the Start/Finish at 3301 S Norfolk St, Seattle, WA 98118 (Boeing Truck Inspections Lots).

NOTE: All participants driving to the 5K MUST enter the parking lots by taking Airport Way S to S Norfolk St. (E. Marginal Way will be CLOSED).

FROM I-5: Take exit 158 for Boeing Access Rd toward E Marginal Way. Turn/continue onto S Boeing Access Rd (heading west). Use the right lane to take the Airport Way ramp. Merge onto Airport Way S. Turn left onto S Norfolk St. Continue into the lots.

FROM THE NORTH: Head south on Airport Way S. Turn right onto S Norfolk St. Continue into the lots.

FROM THE SOUTH: Head north on E Marginal Way S. Turn right onto S Boeing Access Rd then immediately use the right lane to take the Airport Way S ramp. Merge onto Airport Way S. Turn left onto S Norfolk St. Continue into lots.
