The team recommends booking through the Rock ‘n’ Roll Travel page. This hub provides rates listed directly on the page and reserving online takes you directly to where you can get receive the partner hotel discount. In addition there’s also an awesome filter function which allows you to view distance to start and finish lines!

Getting To and From the Airport

Taxi: The easiest way to and from the airport; but only take The Strip during the day, traffic is crazy at night!

Hotel Shuttles: These won’t take you to every single hotel but will go to 3 or 4 stops and get you closer to your destination.

Health & Fitness Expo

The Expo hosts a vast collection of running catered vendors made available to participants and the general public. The crew recommends going on Thursday or Friday (3-day expo!) if you can to avoid crowds and come back on Saturday to do more shopping if you want.

Race Day Tips

Take a peak at our other post Race Weekend Tips for Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas in addition to these helpful facts!

  • The Start Line is located across from Mandalay Bay, about a mile from the center of The Strip.
  • The optimal way to get there depends on where your hotel is located. If you are a guest at The Mirage, Wynn, or Venetian, they will have shuttles going to the Start Line.
  • The Monorail is also a great option to take down to MGM then walk to the Start!

Most important: NO CABS – say the travel experts. With road closures traffic will bottle neck and make the experience more stressful.
