Jose  is a great race to complete, whether it’s your first half marathon or one of many! San Jose is one of the new

Running Festival weekends; featuring two days of running and more bling. The race takes runners through the hear

t of downtown San Jose with bands, cheer squads and plenty of excitement. San Jose is so close to neighboring cities

like Santa Cruz and San Francisco, it makes for the perfect excuse to plan a vacation around the race (that’s what I’m doing!).

I’m back to minimal miles after a brief hiatus from running and am excited to be prepping for San Jose. With about 9-10 weeks to race day, it’s perfect for anyone looking to do their first race come fall. Make sure you have been exercising regularly and are given the okay from your doctor before following any training program.
