In July 2015, Abigail was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the blood. At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, she’s undergoing two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy.
“As soon as we got to St. Jude, doctors and nurses were all around us,” said Abigail’s mom. “There was no waiting and no worrying.”
Runners who fundraise for St. Jude are helping kids like Abigail, who likes being outside, ride her bike and make crafts. She also loves playing with her two Great Pyrenees dogs, Bella and Brutus.
Join us in helping St. Jude continue to lead the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. They won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
