Vanessa Rankin

Vanessa Rankin is a BGR Nashville Member, who has been running since 2009. Currently on my quest for the 6 star ⭐️ medal(to run all 6 world majors) and run a half marathon in all 50 states! Taylor_Edwards_550_large

Taylor Edwards

My appreciation for running began during my teenage years, thanks to a great high school track coach (Jason Retz).  His leadership during my early years of track taught me the importance of a consistent and disciplined work ethic. I was fortunate to go on to play college softball and basketball at the division 1 and professional level. Since transitioning out of competitive team sports, I made the move to Nashville and now spend my time traveling & working in corporate investments. At the beginning of 2023, running a marathon was just something on my bucket list -- and last year at the St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Running Series Nashville, I was able to cross the finish line and check it off the list. I am excited to encourage and inspire others to set and achieve goals that set them up for success even after they cross the finish line just like my first Rock 'n' Roll running event did for me.

Kimberly_Glenn_550_large

Kimberly Glenn

Kim Glenn found running in her early teens and has kept finding new ways to fall in love the sport for nearly 30 years. Hailing from Virginia Beach, she had a successful high school running career but shifted to focus on academics through college and grad school. She came back to running in 2007 after moving to Nashville and visiting the Fleet Feet Nashville store in Brentwood. Through their training programs and events, Kim became deeply connected to the Nashville running community which led her to serve as the first ambassador for the Nashville group of Black Girls RUN! She found great joy, passion and purpose in leading women of color interested in starting or continuing their fitness journey. Over the past 5 years, Kim has found a new way to love running through triathlon. She's completed 1 full Ironman, 4 Ironman 70.3 events, and several Olympic and sprint events. When she's not running, Kim is leading a real-world evidence consulting practice and hanging out with her awesome daughters and loving husband in Nolensville.

Jeremy_Taylor_550_large

Jeremy Taylor

I am a Nashville native that found my love of running later than most.  I began running with East Nasty during the 2011 Potato to Tomato program (Couch to 5k).  Although a reluctant participant for that first race I loved the feeling of the finish line and took off from there!.  I run my time with My wife, Juanita and close friends.

Since that first race I have run: 30 5k's, 14 Half Marathons, 6 Marathons, 11 Triathlons, and 2 Half IRONMANs.

I am married with one daughter, Catherine.  I currently serve as the President of East Nasty Running Club.

Christina_Pichiarello_550_large

Christina Pichiarello

Hey Guys! I am Christina Pichiarello. I am a Vanderbilt University Medical Center Physician Assistant and passionate running coach at Stride Fitness in West End. I began my athletic career as a soccer player and transitioned to running when entering graduate school. I tolerated running until the COVID 19 pandemic occurred. Running became my coping mechanism, my peace, and my passion. The greenway on the Cumberland River has seen the best and worst of me. It led me to my first Marathon, the Rock 'n' Roll in Nashville.  Since that time, I've run several marathons to include Boston 2023. I share my enthusiasm for running at Stride Fitness in West End, where I help others find their "why" and excitement for running. I'm thrilled to be an ambassador for the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series in Nashville, because this is where it all started for me. What's stopping you?

Kelley_Doss_550_large

Kelley Doss

My fitness journey began at a very early age with playing basketball and running track. It has now led me to climbing mountains and scaling waterfalls, but running has always been my true love. I have been a pacer for FleetFeet Nashville for 7 years and with them, is where I learned to love distance running. The Nashville Rock 'n' Roll was my very first half-marathon back in 2016. I fell in love and now will always have this race as my spring half-marathon. 2024 will be my 15th half-marathon, and of course, it will be the Nashville Rock 'n' Roll.
