Getting to the Expo

MONORAIL
The Las Vegas Monorail is a convenient option for getting to the Expo and is offering participants and spectators exclusive fare discounts race week. Details regarding the Monorail schedule, maps and rates are available here. Your destination for arrival at the Expo is the Convention Center Station.

Once you arrive in Las Vegas, locate your Monorail ticket on your mobile device. EXPO PARKING - FREE PARKING AVAILABLE

We're excited to offer all Rock 'n' Roll participants/expo attendees FREE parking in all Las Vegas Convention Center lots for all three days*. 
 

In order to receive free parking, participants must state they are with the Humana Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas event. 
*Please note, Bronze 3 Lot will NOT be available on November 15 and November 16.

RACE DAY PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Saturday 5K

The 5K will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds which is within walking distance from select hotels. Additional transportation options are outlined below. 

MONORAIL 

The Las Vegas Monorail is offering participants and spectators exclusive fare discounts! When Las Vegas Blvd. closes to traffic on race day, use the Monorail to travel around the Strip and to the start line for the race. Trains arrive at each of the seven stations every 5-10 minutes. To get to the 5K, take the Monorail to the Sahara Las Vegas Station (formerly SLS). Buy tickets online to save! Details regarding the Monorail schedule, maps and rates are available here.

PARKING 

Parking will be available at Sahara for $20. Valet Parking through Sahara is free but is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

RUNNER DROP OFF 

Participants may be dropped off at the Sahara Las Vegas west valet off of Las Vegas Blvd., or the east valet off of Paradise Rd. Participants should use pedestrian footpaths to walk across to the Festival Grounds.

Sunday 10K Start

The 10K start takes place on Las Vegas Blvd in front of the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and is within walking distance to many area hotels. The finish line is located on Las Vegas Blvd at The Mirage with the runners exiting at Flamingo Rd, also within walking distance to many area hotels.

IMPORTANT: The 10k start line is NOT near the Marathon and Half Marathon Start Line.

RUNNER DROP OFF 
Due to the closure of Las Vegas Blvd. on Sunday, participants must be dropped off at the east valet at Sahara Las Vegas off of Paradise Rd. Participants should use pedestrian footpaths to walk to the start. 

Sunday Marathon & Half Marathon Start

Details regarding the Monorail schedule, maps and rates are available here.  Your destination for arrival at the Marathon & 1/2 Marathon start line festival is the Bally's/Paris Station, which is a very short walk to the Festival.

WALKING? – VIEW MAP
The Start Village and Finish lines are both within walking distance to many area hotels. Many of the surrounding intersections have pedestrian bridges that should be used to cross the street. Routes to get to the Start Village from various areas are noted in the map below.

PARKING
Participant parking is available at Strip hotels near the start and finish. Parking fees will be charged at various locations, please visit here for additional information regarding parking options and fees. To be closer to your car after you finish, you can park at any hotels near the finish and take the Monorail to the Bally’s/Paris Station to get to the Start Village. It is advised to avoid parking at hotels on the West Side of the strip, including New York New York, Aria, Park MGM and Excalibur due to the Vegas Golden Knights hockey game which is concurrent with the marathon.

RUNNER DROP OFFVIEW MAP 
There will be a designated runner drop-off on E Harmon Ave on Kishner Dr. (between Koval Ln. and Lamar Cir). Participants will walk west on E Harmon Ave to Audrie Lane to access the Start Village.

ROAD CLOSURES

Race day road closures may impact your travel to and from the event. Be aware and plan ahead by studying our road closure list and alternate access information here. You can also download the free Waze app on your smart point for point to point directions around road closures on race day!

Transportation from the Airport

Bell Trans is the largest ground transportation provider in Las Vegas and located at McCarran Airport.  Bell Trans has kiosks outside of Door 9 of Terminal 1 and Door 52 of Terminal 3 with staff and vehicles staged to assist arriving passenger.  Bell Trans offers the Airport Shuttle which is a Share-A-Ride service and the most economical form of transportation between the resort corridor and Airport.  Bell Trans also offers Private Car service in Sedans, SUVs and Limousines charged by the hour for the exclusive use of the passenger(s).  All services are available for purchase from our websites www.BellLimousines.com & www.AirportShuttleLasVegas.com , Call Center 800-274-7433, and Kiosks located outside the McCarran Airport
