TRANSPORT

TRAFFIC NOTICE:  Follow the directions provided below to avoid road closures tomorrow morning, including current interstate and ramp closures due to accident near downtown, to get to Nissan Stadium for parking or to runner drop-off near the start. Plan ahead, leave early and prepare for more traffic than usual due to closed interstate. Parking lots at Nissan Stadium will be open at 4:00 AM and we recommend being parked or dropped off by 6:00 AM to ensure you have enough time to get to your corral. 

EXPO

The Health & Fitness Expo is located at the Nashville Music City Center (201 5th Avenue South). This is a short cab ride or walk from the downtown area near most hotels. There are several additional public lots in the downtown area that are privately owned and will be charging various fees.

• Free parking in Lots A, B, C, D at Nissan Stadium on Thursday and Friday on a first come, first serve basis.
  • This is approximately .8 miles from Music City Center. 
• Parking at the Nashville Music City Center will be $20.00.

RACE DAY PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Parking

• FREE limited parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at:
  • Nissan Stadium in Lots A, B, C and D.
  • Cross Point Church: 299 Cowan St. Nashville TN 37213
  • Main Event Parking Lot: 14 James Robertson Pkwy, Nashville, TN 37213                            
• Parking lots will open at 4 AM on race morning. Due to Road Closures and heavy race morning traffic, we recommend parking by 6 AM to ensure you have enough time to get to your corral. 
  • NOTE: With an earlier start for the 5K at 6:45 AM, it is recommended that 5K participants park no later than 5:30 AM.
  • NOTE: Marathon & 1/2 Marathon participants in later corrals should plan their arrival time to the start line accordingly as they will not be starting right at 7:15 AM.
• Follow this walking map to get from the Nissan Stadium Parking Lots to your respective start line:

From the North: Before 6:00 AM Only

Parking at Nissan Stadium

• Take I-65 South to I-24 East. Continue on I-24 East (Chattanooga).
• Take Exit 48/James Robertson Pkwy. Stay in right lane which becomes Interstate Dr.
• Continue through 1^st traffic light (cross James Robertson Pkwy) and 2^nd traffic light (cross Woodland St.).
• If parking at Nissan Stadium:
• Turn right onto Russell St.
• Turn left onto 2^nd St.  Follow directional signs to stadium parking lots.

Runner Drop-Off

• Take I-65 South to I-24 East to 40-West.
• Take Exit 210C to 2nd/4th Ave.
• Turn right onto 2nd Ave.
• Turn left onto Korean Veterans Blvd.
• Drop off between 4th and 5th Ave.

From the West: Before 6:00 AM Only

• Take I-40 East to I-65 North. Merge onto I-24 East (Chattanooga).

• Take I-65 North to I-40 East.
• Take Exit 210C to 2nd/4th Ave.
• Turn left onto 2nd Ave.

From the East:

Parking at Nissan Stadium

• Take I-40 West to  I-24 West (Clarksville).
• Take Exit 49/Shelby Ave.
• Left onto Shelby.
• Proceed over bridge. Follow directional signs to stadium parking lots.

Runner Drop-Off

• Take I-40-West to exit 210C at 2nd/4th Ave.
• Turn right onto 2nd Ave.
• Turn left onto Korean Veterans Blvd.
• Drop off between 4th and 5th Ave.

Shuttles

Race Day Hotel Shuttle Options

• Round trip shuttle passes are available for pre-purchase for select hotels on race day for $20 (you do not have to be a guest of the hotel to purchase a shuttle pass).
• Shuttles will pick up at the locations noted below and take participants directly to the start line.
• Shuttles will be available at the Finish on South 2nd Street off of Shelby Avenue by Nissan Stadium near Lot T, and will run on a continuous loop to all locations after the race from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. 
• The Last Shuttle will be leaving the finish line area at 3:00PM.
• All shuttle passes must be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo, April 25-26 with photo ID. Shuttle passes are limited in capacity and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Gaylord Opryland Resort – Roundtrip – $20 CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE

• Shuttles depart from Gaylord Opryland Resort (Cascade Portico) starting at 5:00 am and leaving every 10 minutes util 6:00 am. 
• Shuttles depart from Inn at Opryland (Main Entrance) at 5:00 am, 5:15 am and 5:30 am.
• After the race, return trips to the hotels from the finish line start at 10:00 am and run continuously until 3:00 pm.

Music City Star

There will be a special Music City Star train on race morning from Lebanon to downtown Nashville. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the St. Jude Heroes program. Round-trip tickets can be purchased with a credit card through www.ticketsnashville.com.

Located off Korean Veterans Blvd. between 4th & 5th Ave.

FINISH LINE PICK UP

Taxi Stand: South 2nd Street off of Shelby Avenue by Nissan Stadium.

Runner Pickup: Sylvan Street off of South 2nd Street.

Directions:

• Exit I-24 onto Shelby Ave. Turn onto Shelby Avenue toward Nissan Stadium. Turn left  onto South 2nd Street. Turn left onto Sylvan St.  Traffic officers will stage vehicles on Sylvan St and South 3rd Street to wait for runners.  To depart, follow Sylvan to 3rd, turn right onto Crutcher, right onto South 2nd Street to Shelby Avenue.

OR

• From downtown:  Take Korean Veterans Blvd toward Nissan Stadium.  Turn right onto South 2nd Street.  Turn left onto Sylvan St.  Traffic officers will stage vehicles on Sylvan St and South 3rd Street to wait for runners.  To depart, follow Sylvan to 3rd, turn right onto Crutcher, right onto South 2nd Street to Shelby Avenue.

1 Mile/Doggie Dash Parking

Free parking can be found in Lot C and D at Nissan Stadium for the 1 mile and Doggie Dash on Sunday, April 28th.  

KiDS Rock Parking

Follow signs on race morning to designated parking areas for KiDS ROCK. Please arrive early to park in one of the parking lots noted below near Nissan Stadium.

Coming from North of Nashville
On I-65 South:
· I-65 South toward Nashville
· Merge onto I-24 East (Exit 86) toward Chattanooga/Knoxville/I-40 East
· Follow rest of 1-24 East directions

On I-24 East:
· I-24 East toward Nashville
· Take Shelby Avenue Exit (Exit 49)
· Go across Shelby Avenue onto Interstate Drive and into the Stadium Parking Lots B, C and D

Coming from West of Nashville
On I-40 East:
· I-40 East toward Nashville,
· Merge onto I-65 North (Exit 208A) toward Clarksville
· Merge onto I-24 East (Exit 86A) and take the Shelby Avenue Exit (Exit 49),
· Go across Shelby Avenue onto Interstate Drive and into the Stadium Parking Lots B, C and D

Coming from South of Nashville
On I-65 North:
· I-65 North toward Nashville
· Merge onto I-40 East (Exit 82A) toward Knoxville
· Merge onto I-24 W (Exit 211B)
· Take James Robertson Pkwy Exit (Exit 48)
· Turn Left on Interstate Drive and into the Stadium Parking Lots B, C and D

Coming from East of Nashville
On I-40 West:
· I-40 West toward Nashville
· Merge onto I-24 West (Exit 211) toward Clarksville
· Follow rest of 1-24 West directions

On I-24 West:
· I-24 West toward Nashville
· Take James Robertson Pkwy Exit (Exit 48)
· Turn Left on Interstate Drive and into the Stadium Parking Lots B, C and D
