RNR Liverpool now a World Age Group Qualifier
Rock 'n' Roll Liverpool Marathon on May 26, 2019 is one of two events in the UK where athletes can qualify for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships, being held as part of the Virgin Money London Marathon in 2020.

The 2018 Rock ‘n’ Roll Liverpool Marathon and ½ Marathon was a day to remember with nearly 20 000 runners taking to the streets of Liverpool for the 5th running of the iconic event on 20 May 2018. The course started at the Albert Docks, taking runners past some of the Liverpool’s most iconic landmarks and sites incorporating two of the city’s famed attractions; music and football.
