Featuring Grégory Charles and many more!
By choosing to move to the Quartier des spectacles, Marathon organizers hope to make a strong impression and offer a varied cultural program to Montrealers. From 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, September 21, the Boogie Wonder Band will get everybody up and disco dancing. Then on Saturday, September 22, Grégory Charles and Friends will give a frenzied 2 hour and 2 minute uninterrupted performance in a nod to the world marathon record set by Kenyan runner Dennis Kimetto (2 hours, 2 minutes, 57 seconds) in Germany in 2014. On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the vibrant and talented singers of LADY’5 will deliver an energetic and colourful performance. All of these shows are free, open to the general public and will take place on the Oasis stage in the Quartier des spectacles. Finally, in an effort to bring music to the race, the organizers of this Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series event have added more musical entertainment to the race this year, creating even more opportunities to bring the community together.
Honouring Montreal's rich culture
This year, the Oasis International Marathon de Montréal is relocating to the Entertainment District and, in keeping with its new home, will offer free cultural programming for everyone!
