Getting to the Expo
The two day health and fitness expo is located at the New Orleans Morial Convention center, 900 Convention Center Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70130.
Participants may either drive and park at the Convention Center or walk from downtown area hotels.
RACE DAY PARKING & TRANSPORTATION
Race Day Parking and Transportation
There is no official race parking at the start line and limited paid parking for participants or spectators at the finish line. Therefore, we encourage participants to plan ahead and designate a parking option prior to race morning. With over 20,000 participants, there will be HEAVY traffic on race day. Please carpool when possible, plan to arrive early, follow the driving directions provided, and please be patient!
PREMIUM PARKING PACKAGE – FOR RUNNERS
Purchase the Premium Parking Pass at the Health & Fitness Expo for $20 and receive the following:
- Parking pass for Finish Line parking
- Express shuttle to Start Line the (Shuttle is for the runner ONLY. Additional shuttle passes can be purchased for $5.)
Premium Parking is located at Delgado Community College, near the Finish Line Village. If purchasing a Premium Parking Package, you will park here using your parking pass. The lot will be open at 5:00am and participants must be parked by 6:30am to accommodate for road closures and ensure they catch the shuttle. Participants will then take the Express Shuttle, which runs from 5:00am – 7:00am, to the Start Line Drop off at Poydras St. and Baronne St. When you finish the race in City Park, your car will be waiting for you nearby.
GETTING TO THE START LINE
Walk: If you are staying or live in downtown New Orleans, we ask that you walk to the start line. The walk should be approximately 0.5 miles. From your hotel, find Poydras St. and head west or away from the river. Continue to walk until you see corrals and start structure. The start village is located at Lafayette Square on Camp St. at S. Maestri St.
Downtown Parking: Park in one of the numerous lots and garages in downtown New Orleans and walk to the start line at Poydras St. and Camp St. Bring small bills as many of the lots are unstaffed but still require payment.
Runner Drop-Off: Poydras St. at Baronne St. – Runners will then walk east down Poydras St. continue to walk until you see the Start Line. The Start Village is on Camp St. and S. Maestri St. in Lafayette Square. Please be aware of Road Closures in the area.

GETTING TO THE START LINE
Walk: From your hotel or parking lot, find Poydras St. and head west or away from the river. Continue to walk until you see corrals and start structure. The Start Village is located at Lafayette Square on Camp St. at S. Maestri St.
NOTE: There are no shuttles to the start area for spectators. Race shuttles to the start are provided only for runners who have purchased the Premium Parking option.
GETTING TO THE FINISH LINE
Free Shuttle: Shuttles will take spectators to the Finish Line in City Park from downtown from 8:00am – 12:00pm. The last spectator shuttle to City Park leaves downtown at 12:00pm. These shuttles will load on Poydras St. between Baronne St. & Carondelet St. Spectators will be dropped off on Marconi Dr. next to City Park.
GETTING BACK POST-RACE
Shuttle: Free shuttles will take participants and spectators from City Park back to the start area from 8:00am – 3:45pm. These shuttles will load at Marconi Dr. next to City Park and drop off at Poydras St. at the corner of Baronne St.
Runner Pick-Up: Runners can be picked up on City Park Ave. at Marconi Dr. in front of Delgado Community College.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO RUNNER DROP-OFF
From Metairie/Baton Rouge/1-10 Eastbound: Travel on I-10 East towards New Orleans and the CBD to exit 234B, Poydras St. / Superdome. Continue on Poydras St. past the Superdome and turn left on Loyola. Runner drop-off is on Loyola.
From North Shore via the Pontchartrain Causeway: Follow US-190 south towards New Orleans and cross the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway (24 miles over the lake) to Interstate-10 and travel east to New Orleans/CBD. Continue on Interstate-10 to exit 234B and follow Poydras St. past the Superdome and turn left on Loyola. Runner drop-off is on Loyola.
From Interstate – 10 to the East: Follow I-10 west to exit 235B, Canal St. / Superdome. Follow to Canal St. and turn right. Drive to Elk St. and turn right (Elk turns into Loyola). Runner drop off is on Loyola.
From West Bank and US-90: Follow US-90 east and take the West Bank Expressway to the Crescent City Connection. Travel over the Mississippi River to Claiborne Avenue/90 east exit. Stay right on ramp to exit at Claiborne Avenue. Turn right on Tulane Avenue then follow road right onto Loyola. Runner drop off is on Loyola.
