About the Course

The 2018 Course is still to be confirmed but here is some information to consider!

The first edition of the 2018 Rock ‘n’ Roll Santiago Half Marathon offers distances of 10 and 21 kilometers. For both distances, the race start format as well as the location will be something new and different from anything you have seen in Chile before.

The athletes will be grouped in pens according to their predicted finish time and you will run with people of a similar level to reduce overtaking and thus improve your experience on the course. But that’s not all! The race starts will also be differentiated by waves or groups of a maximum of approximately 600 athletes that are separated by two minutes each. These measures, implemented years ago by the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series in multiple events around the world, allows us to give all #RnRSantiago athletes a tremendous experience along the course.

The course will run past historical Santiago sites, with beautiful views and wide roads, which will allow for the support of thousands of people cheering you along.
