Your 2018 Entertainment
By choosing to move to the Entertainment District, Marathon organizers hoped to make a strong impression and offer a varied cultural program to Montrealers. From 12:45 to 2 p.m. on Friday, September 21, the Boogie Wonder Band will get everybody up and disco dancing. Then on Saturday, September 22, Grégory Charles and Friends will give a frenzied 2 hour and 2 minute uninterrupted performance in a nod to the world marathon record set by Kenyan runner Dennis Kimetto (2 hours, 2 minutes, 57 seconds) in Germany in 2014. On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the vibrant and talented singers of LADY’5 will deliver an energetic and colourful performance. Finally, in an effort to bring music to the race, the organizers of this Rock n’ Roll Series marathon added more musical entertainment to the race this year, creating even more opportunities to bring the community together.
