Health & Fitness Expo

LOCATION: Phoenix Convention Center (South Halls F & G), 100 N 3rd St, Phoenix, Arizona 85004

Getting There

- Parking at the Phoenix Convention Center is $12 and will apply for both Friday and Saturday. This fee is issued by the Phoenix Convention Center.  

- There are alternate lots and parking meters available in downtown Phoenix.  

- Take the Metro to the 3rd Street/Washington (westbound) or 3rd Street/Jefferson (eastbound) station. The Phoenix Convention Center is north of Jefferson, between Monroe and Washington.

Parking Options

FREE parking is available at the ASU Football Stadium at the intersection of Rio Salado Parkway and Packard Dr. 

Transportation Options

Valley Metro Rail passengers should allow extra time to reach their destinations. Transit passengers are required to pay a fare, including all runners. An all-day pass is $4.00 and can be purchased in advance at a rail station fare vending machine or retail locations listed at valleymetro.org. 

5K Runner Drop Off

Runners may be dropped off at the Tempe Center for the Arts at 700 W Rio Salado Parkway.  Please follow the directions above.  NOTE: Westbound Rio Salado, towards downtown Tempe, will be closed for the race.  Drivers will need to leave the same way they came in. 

10K & Half Marathon - Parking & Transportation

Parking is FREE for runners at the following lots. Click here to download a map.

1. ASU Fulton Center Parking Garages – College Avenue & 7th Street 
From 202: Exit Scottsdale Road/Rural Road and head south. Turn right on 6th Street. Turn right on Veterans Way. Turn left on College Avenue to the Fulton Center Parking Garage. 

2. ASU Lot 20 – University Drive & Mill Avenue 
From I-10: Use Exit 153 for AZ-143. Use Exit 2 for University Drive. Turn right on University Drive. Turn right on Mill Avenue and left into the surface lot. 

3. ASU Rural Road Garage – Rural Road & Lemon Street 
From 60: Use the exit for Rural Road and head north. Turn left into the Rural Road Garage after crossing Lemon Street.

4. ASU Apache Boulevard Garage – Apache Boulevard & Normal Avenue 
From 60: Use the exit for Rural Road and head north. Turn left onto Apache Boulevard. Turn right onto Normal Avenue and left into the garage. 

5.  ASU Lot 55 – University Drive & Athletes Place – must park before 7:30am only 
From 202: Exit Scottsdale Road/Rural Road and head south. Turn left onto University Drive and left into the surface lot after Athletes Place. 

Transportation Options

Valley Metro Rail will operate a Sunday schedule with trains running every 20 minutes to connect marathoners and half marathoners to the race start locations in downtown Phoenix and Tempe. Additional trains will be used to support demand prior to the start of the races (5:00 – 7:30am) and following the finish of the races. 

Passengers should allow extra time to reach their destinations. Transit passengers are required to pay a fare, including all marathon participants. An all-day pass is $4.00 and can be purchased in advance at a rail station fare vending machine or retail locations listed at valleymetro.org. 

Stations Closest to Half Marathon Start Line: University Drive/Rural 

Stations Closest to Half Marathon Finish Line: Mill Ave/3rd St.

10K & Half Marathon Runner Drop Off

FROM 202: Use Priest Drive Exit and head south. Turn left on University Drive. Turn left on Farmer Avenue and drop off on Farmer just south of 5th Street.

FROM I-10: Head north on 143. Exit at University and head east towards Tempe. Turn left on Farmer Avenue and drop off on Farmer just South of 5th Street.  

FROM TEMPE OR HIGHWAY 60: Head north on Rural Road towards ASU. Turn left on Apache Boulevard and follow it north as it changes to Mill Avenue.  Head north on 143. Exit at University and head east towards Tempe. Turn left on Farmer Avenue and drop off on Farmer just South of 5th Street. 

FROM TEMPE OR HIGHWAY 60: Head north on Rural Road towards ASU. Turn left on Apache Boulevard and follow it north as it changes to Mill Avenue. 

Marathon - Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

The Arizona Center is providing FREE PARKING to the first 2,000 marathon participants on race day. To return to this lot after your run, participants will need to purchase a Light Rail ticket and get off at the 3rd Street/Washington Station.  

Directions to Arizona Center parking garage:  

- From I-10 West: Use Exit 145A for 7th Street. Keep left at the fork to 7th Street. Turn right on Van Buren Street. Turn right on 5th Street and access to the garage will be on your left. 

- From I-10 East: Use Exit 145 for 7th Street. Keep right at the fork to 7th Street. Turn right on Portland Street and then left onto 3rd Street. Turn left on Fillmore Street and access to the garage will be on your right.
