The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) Wanda Age Group World Rankings gives the fastest Rock 'n' Roll Liverpool runners the opportunity to qualify to represent their countries with pride and passion by participating in this race-within-a-race format. The World Championships will be held within one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors events each year.

Participants in AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Ranking qualifying races, such as Rock 'n' Roll Liverpool Marathon, will earn points according to their age, time and gender. The qualifying system will give runners a chance to perform their very best in Liverpool, gain global recognition and a platform to then compete against the world’s best.

The Liverpool course will play host to thousands of athletes who will battle it out on the same streets walked by John, Paul, George and Ringo, collectively known as The Beatles, who originated in Liverpool in 1960. The race course takes in some of the best-known sights in the United Kingdom, including The Cavern Club and The Royal Albert Dock, as well as Anfield and Goodison Park, homes to Liverpool Football Club and Everton Football Club, respectively.

All Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathons will be part of the AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings for the upcoming season.
