Participants and representatives of the Series tell the story of the Original Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon and how it has impacted the people who participated as well as the endurance running landscape. The 1998 Suzuki Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego Marathon brought in tens of thousands of participants to run, rock, and roll together and paved the way for what is now known as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series.
