Rock 'n' Roll Running Series San Diego and The Run Down are teaming up to celebrate the 25th anniversary by activating a series of scavenger hunt runs in neighborhoods that the race runs through while highlighting a run community from that area.

Save the date for these neighborhood previews:

• North Park Neighborhood x Milestone Running | March 1
• Balboa Park Neighborhood x San Diego Track Club | April 6
• Little Italy Neighborhood x STRIDE Little Italy | May 2

Starting March 1st, we'll kick off the first scavenger hunt series in North Park. North Park is home to craft breweries, coffee shops, diverse restaurants and to run specialty store, Milestone Running Shop. Rock 'n' Roll San Diego passes through this vibrant neighborhood at miles 2, 3, 7-9 where bands and cheer zones line the streets.

Join Milestone Hump Day Run Club on March 1st as they participate in the 5K scavenger hunt route with raffled prizes at the end! RSVP on Facebook here.

If you can't join this experience in-person, run this route on your own time between March 1-15!

How to Participate:

• Add The Run Down to your phone
• Begin/finish the 5K run at Milestone Running Shop.
• Follow route through The Run Down app
• Upload run selfies at landmark locations to be entered to win prizes

Starting at Milestone Running Store, the route previews part of the Rock 'n' Roll San Diego race by running down 30th St passing the North Park sign taking the runner to University Ave where the race splits the marathon and half marathon runners.
