Airport Transportation
Conveniently located just ten minutes from Downtown San Diego, San Diego International Airport (SAN) is your closest airport to all race weekend activity.
Flying into San Diego, passengers get a bird’s eye view of Balboa Park, downtown and the San Diego Bay on their descent down to San Diego International Airport. The airport terminals are easy to navigate and rarely crowded. Disembarking the plane, collecting luggage and getting out to the street often only takes a few minutes.
We recommend using ride share apps which are easily accessible outside of baggage claim. For car rentals, the airport is served by all major car rental agencies. You can also check with your hotel for complimentary airport shuttles.

Free parking will be available at Inspiration Point behind the Veteran's Museum in Balboa Park.
Half Marathon & Marathon - Sunday

Race Day Transportation
To get to the Marathon and Half Marathon start line on race morning:
- Reserve your parking spot via SpotHero near the finish line at Union St & Ash St and walk less than a mile to the start line up Sixth Ave.
- Use Ride Share Services (Lyft & Uber). We recommend using Fifth Ave between Palm and Quince as your designated drop-off location. We recommend requesting your pick-up ride from 1600 Pacific Highway (behind the County Administration Building).
