Over 24,000 runners took flight at the United Airlines Rock ‘n’ Roll Washington DC Marathon & ½ Marathon braving the cold with smiles on their faces. 10 year NFL wide receiver and no stranger to performing in sub-freezing temperatures, Donte Stallworth completed his first ever half marathon. wear blue: run to remember lined the hardest uphill mile of the course with American flags and pictures of fallen soldiers before runners and spectators were treated to a finish line festival featuring The Family Stone as the headliner.

2017 Highlight Video

2017 proved to be our best year yet in Washington, DC with more than 20,000 participants ascending to the District to rock and roll! The weekend officially kicked off at the Health & Fitness Expo March 9-10 at the DC Armory. On Saturday the racing began with the marathon group setting off at 7 a.m., followed by the 5K group at 7:30 a.m. The half marathon group was the last to set off at 8:30 a.m.
