The Spazmatics!
At the Rock 'n 'Roll Running Series Arizona, the course is much more than lonely roads that take you from the start to the finish line. In addition to running with thousands of others who all have the same goal, your route will be filled with a variety of activity to keep you motivated.
The Half Marathon course will feature 13 different entertainment and motivational activations. With the design of the course, you will actually pass by the locations a total of 20 times. That means 20 motivational areas in 13 miles - and that does not include the start line, finish line or water stations.
The 10k participants will also enjoy more than ever on the course as there are 10 locations sprinkled around the 6.2 mile route.
As a special bonus, between miles 10 & 11 on the half marathon course (miles 3 and 4 on the 10K), you’ll experience the wear blue Mile, a powerful reflection of wear blue: run to remember’s mission to honor the service and sacrifice of the American military through active remembrance. Along this stretch, the faces and names of our fallen heroes line the course, followed by American flags held proudly by volunteers. Each step you take becomes a purposeful step, a tribute of gratitude, remembrance, and unity with the families and communities forever changed by their service and sacrifice.
Want to honor a fallen hero? Visit www.wearblueruntoremember.org/hero-match to receive the name of a fallen service member to honor on race day.
