- If parking at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center: Enter on Almaden near the Hilton Hotel as Market St. will be inaccessible due to the race route.
- If parking in the SAP Center: Enter using Julian St. and Montgomery St. as Santa Clara will be inaccessible due to the race route.
Public Transportation:
· Ride the VTA Light Rail (exit Convention Center, Children's Discovery Museum, or San Antonio stations).
· Rates: $2.50/adult, $1.25/youth (ages 5-18).
· For added convenience, park at any of VTA's free Park $ Ride lots. Stay the course. Take the VTA to the race.
Runner Drop Off:
· Drop your runner off on Almaden Blvd between San Carlos and Park.
· To exit the area after dropping your runner, turn left on Park or U-turn at Park and head back south on Almaden Blvd.
Road Closures:
Race day road closures may impact your travel to and from the event. Be aware and plan by studying our road closure list and alternate access information.
You can also download the free Waze app on your smart point for point-to-point directions around road closures on race day.
Tips on Getting Around the City:
Ride the VTA light rail (exit at Convention Center or Children’s Discovery Museum) and purchase an 8-hour Excursion Pass as your round trip ticket!
